VHSL Book of Records
The VHSL Book of Records brings proper recognition to high school students, coaches and teams that have achieved outstanding performances in interscholastic athletic and academic competition. The Virginia High School League believes such recognition helps stimulate interest in high school athletic programs and motivates participants to improve their skills.
Information is compiled from office files, past issues of The Leaguer, VHSL's yearbook of record, and information from those outside the VHSL who follow Virginia high school activities. As we continue to update this publication, we will rely on school officials, participants, reporters or other interested readers to keep us up to date with each new achievement or performance record. Handbook and Policy Manual
The handbook and policy manual describes the policies and procedures adopted by the VHSL. The handbook contains general policies. By-laws, rules and regulations for specific athletic and academic activities. To view the Handbook in its entirety, click here »
VHSL Directory
The directory lists all state accredited public high schools. Group, regional and district affiliation and number of students in grades 9-12 are shown as well as additional information listed for each school.

Championship Programs
VHSL produces basketball and football championship game programs. Each program includes rosters, brief histories of the games, feature articles, records and team photos. In addition, the VHSL assists host sites to produce game programs that are available at each championship site.

Take 29 south into Charlottesville to the 250-East Bypass toward Richmond. Drive approximately four miles on 250. After you pass the Pantops Shopping Center (Applebees, Giant, Starbucks, Liberty Gas Station), turn RIGHT onto State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
Take I-64 East to Exit 124/Shadwell. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Hwy. 250. At the fourth light, turn left onto State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
I-64 West to Exit 124/Shadwell. Turn right on Rt. 250. At the fourth light, turn Left on State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
Take I-64 East to Exit 124/Shadwell. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Hwy. 250. At the fourth light, turn left onto State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
