Rules Clinics
All 2011-12 VHSL rules clinics in all sports/activities will be delivered online. VHSL Handbook Rule 27-2-4 requires that any school sponsoring an interscholastic activity in any of the following sports or academic areas shall require at least one member of that activity's coaching staff to attend a VHSL sponsored rules clinic for that activity in each year that one is offered: Baseball, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Cheer, Field Hockey, Football, Girls Gymnastics, Boys Lacrosse, Girls Lacrosse, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, Softball, Boys Swim and Dive, Girls Swim and Dive, Boys Track, Girls Track, Boys Volleyball, Girls Volleyball, Wrestling, Theatre, Forensics, Debate and Scholastic Bowl.
Officials must attend the rules clinics in any and all sports/activities in which they are registered in order to be eligible for assignment to VHSL contests at any level. Officials must also take and pass applicable rules exams.
Links to Winter sport and Fall activity rules clinics and rules exams are listed below. The deadline for completing any athletic clinic and the exam is Nov. 19, 2011. The deadline for completing any academic clinic is November 6, 2011.

Take 29 south into Charlottesville to the 250-East Bypass toward Richmond. Drive approximately four miles on 250. After you pass the Pantops Shopping Center (Applebees, Giant, Starbucks, Liberty Gas Station), turn RIGHT onto State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
Take I-64 East to Exit 124/Shadwell. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Hwy. 250. At the fourth light, turn left onto State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
I-64 West to Exit 124/Shadwell. Turn right on Rt. 250. At the fourth light, turn Left on State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
Take I-64 East to Exit 124/Shadwell. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Hwy. 250. At the fourth light, turn left onto State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
