Boys Volleyball

DID YOU KNOW -- VHSL held its first boys volleyball championships in 1997 with First Colonial High School of Virginia Beach defeating Monacan, 3-1. In this year's 2009 finals, Clover Hill High School won its third VHSL boys volleyball championship with a three-set  win over Cosby High School.  More »

1,206 boys at 69 member schools participated in boys volleyball during the 2008 season.

 

2010 Season

First Practice - Aug. 2, 2010

First Contest - Aug. 23, 2010

Contest Limits - 20 dual matches; or 18 duals and 1 tournament*; or 16 duals and 2 tournaments*

District Deadline - Nov. 6, 2010

Region Deadline - Nov. 13, 2010

VHSL Championships - Nov. 16, 18-20

*Tournaments must be conducted over no more than 2 consecutive days.  Teams are limited to 15 sets per tournament.  Match format may be modified for non-dual/tournament play.
