Boys Indoor Track
DID YOU KNOW - VHSL has conducted boys indoor track championships since 1950 with Thomas Jefferson High School of Richmond winning the first state title. From 1970-73, Group AA/A held a combined indoor championships. Group A held its own indoor championships from 1974-80. Since 1981, only Group AAA and AA have held indoor track championships.
The Boo Williams Sports Complex was the site for the Group AAA indoor track championships in 2011. Atlee High School was crowned boys champion with Lakeland High School claiming the runner-up spot. In the Group AA indoor track championships held at Liberty University, Louisa County High School took home the Goup AA title followed by Jamstown High School.
9,923 boys at 203 member schools participated in boys indoor track during the 2009-10 season.

Take 29 south into Charlottesville to the 250-East Bypass toward Richmond. Drive approximately four miles on 250. After you pass the Pantops Shopping Center (Applebees, Giant, Starbucks, Liberty Gas Station), turn RIGHT onto State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
Take I-64 East to Exit 124/Shadwell. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Hwy. 250. At the fourth light, turn left onto State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
I-64 West to Exit 124/Shadwell. Turn right on Rt. 250. At the fourth light, turn Left on State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
Take I-64 East to Exit 124/Shadwell. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Hwy. 250. At the fourth light, turn left onto State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
