Boys Cross Country
DID YOU KNOW -- George Washington High School of Alexandria claimed the first VHSL boys cross country championship in 1948. Since then, John Handley High School of Winchester has won a VHSL-record eight boys titles, its last Group AA championship coming in 1993.
In 2008, Clarke County High School won its fourth Group A championship in the last five years. Jamestown High School celebrated the Group AA championship, ending Brentsville District H.S.'s four-year winning streak. In Group AAA, Oakton High School won it's fourth championship overall, its last championship coming in 2005. More »
5,378 boys at 290 member schools participated in boys cross country in 2008.

Take 29 south into Charlottesville to the 250-East Bypass toward Richmond. Drive approximately four miles on 250. After you pass the Pantops Shopping Center (Applebees, Giant, Starbucks, Liberty Gas Station), turn RIGHT onto State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
Take I-64 East to Exit 124/Shadwell. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Hwy. 250. At the fourth light, turn left onto State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
I-64 West to Exit 124/Shadwell. Turn right on Rt. 250. At the fourth light, turn Left on State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
Take I-64 East to Exit 124/Shadwell. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Hwy. 250. At the fourth light, turn left onto State Farm Blvd. The VHSL building is the fourth building on the right.
