| Any gymnast at a Group AAA Regional
Championship meet or at a Group A/AA VHSL-sanctioned meet who does not place in the top
eight (8) places for the individual events (beam, bars, floor, vault), or who does not
place in the top four (4) places for all-around but who does score the state qualifying
score shown below, automatically qualifies for the VHSL State Individual/Open Meet. |
State qualifying scores are determined by averaging the 5th place scores from the
last five state meets. The 5-year average is rounded down to the nearest
tenth. Districts and Regions may adopt less stringent standards. |
